Today Chevelle came out with…what is it…their fourth album? They had Point #1, their second I forgot what it was called but it had “Vitamin R” which owns all songs, their 3rd and probably most awesomeness album ever was Wonder What’s Next which is a MUST have 5/5 stars, then it was Vena Sera that sounds right, and ok now we have their 5th album called Sci-Fi Crimes. So anyway, yeah, today Chevelle came out with their 5th album Sci-Fi Crimes so make sure to get that! I bought my copy earlier and am pretty pleased. It is typical Chevelle. I don’t say “typical” in a bad way I actually mean it in a good way. You have so many artists who change their sound in order to either just change period or get new fans. That is all nice and dandy but every once and awhile your like “Fuck!”. I’ve lost a lot of my favorite artists to the “new sound”. They come out in interviews saying, “We are going with a new sound in our next album.” and I’m like “Why, motherfuckers!”. Anyway, I am getting side tracked aren’t I? So yeah, this last album is typical Chevelle. Some tracks are pretty good, some are pretty interesting, but overall you get what you pay for and if your a Chevelle fan already you should be pleased. I just bought the album awhile ago and don’t know track names so forgive me but track one is awesome. They also have this interlude somewhere towards the end which is weird haven’t heard them do that since Point #1 with the first track just being a instrumental. Another thing which is pretty cool is the last track which seems, personally, to sound different yet still staying with the Chevelle sound. I actually hope they DO change their sound and use that track as a template/example. Lastly, I wouldn’t end this without finding a track to share at least! Don’t you hate spammers? I do too. Oh well, this time a spammer did come through for once. I had a spammer on twitter who decided to jump in a conversation I was having with someone else to recommend some music. I guess in a way I should not be posting this because it means the spammer won. Well the spammer had a good recommendation actually. The recommendation was to check out this artist called Kate Earl who actually is pretty good. I checked out her myspace to see what else she has and all her songs were pretty good. So I’ve been defeated by the spammer today and continue to spread it’s word. You win today spammer…you win today.

Now in COLOR!
Alright call me a nerd all you want but these past couple of days I’ve been wanting to play one game and one game only Pokemon! Oh Pokemon we were once one as I POWNED everyone in sight till someone stole you from me. Well as soon as I can I am buying two or three things. First off, I am buying a Gameboy Color because that was my favorite one and actually my first one. I’ve played a regular Gameboy many times but never owned one. Second, I’m buying a Pokemon game. Either Red or Blue or even Yellow. Yellow was the best from those three but Red and Blue were the original. Along with that I might even buy a newer version but not too sure. What I REALLY want is just to go back via Time Machine and just steal my own stuff without telling myself in the past that way I don’t have to go through the effort of both finding things and buying things. I could just have all my old stuff back! Maybe, in a ABC’s LOST Season 5 explanation, I am the person who stole my shit to begin with! Excuse me, I have someone’s ass to kick for information.
Sadly, the following must have been what hooked me in the first place…Funny how something that you really wanted as a child could turn into something you really want to stop broadcasting as an adult over a blog

Pure Gold
Golden Eye for Nintendo 64 was by far one of the best games EVER! Golden Eye was the Halo before Halo! So awesome! Today I reminisce of the good ol’ days. I don’t know why I started thinking about it but I just did. I used to love playing this game multiplayer. The game itself had some great maps too. My favorites were, which I don’t remember the names to obviously, the second level and the level that took place on a boat. I remember knowing those hands down. Golden Eye was ahead of it’s time with its amazing 3D graphics and A.I…ok I’m being a little sarcastic there since the bad guys usually were always in the same place but the graphics were pretty good. Yes sir, when this game was out I was secret agent by night!…the afternoon, and day as well! I only responded to Bond and when doing any task I would ask for my watch. Yup, those were the days.

So there’s this lady. The lady wrote a book, is a famous chef, and is like old or something. Then there was this other lady who found out about the first one and decided she should cook all of her 524 recipes in a year for some reason and blog about it then eventually made a book or what not. Long story short they put these two into a movie which I am sure it is a good due to the fact that it’s based on TWO true stories and for the fact that it seems inspiring. Personally it seems more like a chick flick to me and I can’t really say much except THAT and that it comes out this Friday August 7, 2009. BUT what I want to share, the most important part, AND the reason I am posting this post, is it has Amy Adams! Oh boy, do I know Amy Adams! First off, she is hot! Second, she is in movies such as Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny(I’ve personally never seen), and Catch Me if You Can. Amy Adams equals hot babe! So if you hate cooking, books, true stories, etc but love Amy Adams then go watch Julie & Julia this weekend! Stop what you are doing and buy a ticket! Screw it, buy two tickets! One for Friday and one for Saturday! Oh yeah, Meryl Streep is in this movie too if that means anything to you.

Police Women Love
So apparently there is this new show coming out on TLC tomorrow that I had to make a post about. It’s called Police Women of Broward County. The show follows four women and their lives as both moms and POLICE WOMEN. I assume this is a mix between Cops and Jon & Kate Plus 8. Personally I can’t wait! Come on how are you suppose to say no to police women! Well hopefully this show is as good as it sounds or at least sounds to me. The show premiers Thursday August 6th 9/8c on TLC.

Well for some odd reason I am one of the few people that I know that like Muse. I actually love Muse. I feel that their music is very creative and they try to think outside the box from time to time and do something different. Great band in my opinion. Sometimes they stick to format, sometimes their lyrics aren’t the most creative, BUT besides all that I give them credit for doing what they are doing. They seem to follow their own rules and do the type of music THEY want to do which I respect. Well I was on YouTube the other day and found a song called Uprising. I haven’t read much up on it but the band is making a new album called The Resistance scheduled to come out September 14, 2009 and that song seems to be on the list, if you trust Wikipedia for that info. If you haven’t checked out Muse or heard of them before I suggest you do. Personally I recommend a Muse album called Orgin of Symmetry. Anyway if the link hasn’t been shut down here is the link to the track on YouTube followed by a link to Wikipedia regarding Muse’s new album The Resistance.
