Today Chevelle came out with…what is it…their fourth album? They had Point #1, their second I forgot what it was called but it had “Vitamin R” which owns all songs, their 3rd and probably most awesomeness album ever was Wonder What’s Next which is a MUST have 5/5 stars, then it was Vena Sera that sounds right, and ok now we have their 5th album called Sci-Fi Crimes. So anyway, yeah, today Chevelle came out with their 5th album Sci-Fi Crimes so make sure to get that! I bought my copy earlier and am pretty pleased. It is typical Chevelle. I don’t say “typical” in a bad way I actually mean it in a good way. You have so many artists who change their sound in order to either just change period or get new fans. That is all nice and dandy but every once and awhile your like “Fuck!”. I’ve lost a lot of my favorite artists to the “new sound”. They come out in interviews saying, “We are going with a new sound in our next album.” and I’m like “Why, motherfuckers!”. Anyway, I am getting side tracked aren’t I? So yeah, this last album is typical Chevelle. Some tracks are pretty good, some are pretty interesting, but overall you get what you pay for and if your a Chevelle fan already you should be pleased. I just bought the album awhile ago and don’t know track names so forgive me but track one is awesome. They also have this interlude somewhere towards the end which is weird haven’t heard them do that since Point #1 with the first track just being a instrumental. Another thing which is pretty cool is the last track which seems, personally, to sound different yet still staying with the Chevelle sound. I actually hope they DO change their sound and use that track as a template/example. Lastly, I wouldn’t end this without finding a track to share at least! Blog Neglection

Ok well first off personally a lot of things have been going on this past week and I haven’t checked when was the last time I’ve posted something but I know it’s been awhile. Second, I’d like to thank anyone who is actually reading this crap and though I haven’t posted anything in awhile I noticed I get a good amount of views a day. So with that being said I am retiring from the blogging industry. Bye!

Ok, not true. I actually like writing stuff, when I have a chance, it prevents me from going out and peeing on something or someone. Don’t ask me why “pee” but just know that and know that, because I get a lot of views, you encouraging me to keep writing and are supporting the cause which is preventing people from getting peed on. It’s nice to know you are helping to make a difference. Everyone who is reading this give yourself a pat in the back!

P.S. No animals, people, or things have been peed on by me between the last post and this one. Also, I will try to post a lot more.

The Vacuum

There are several big unanswered questions in life. “How long will we live?”, “Where did we truly come from?”, and etc. We are too busy focusing on this when we could be focusing on other things such as “What’s up with the vacuum?”. Seriously, what’s the deal with the vacuum. By “vacuum” I mean Vacuum Cleaner but I guess “vacuum” is the way I was brought up calling it. It’s my slang, man! “Gotta get this peace clean! Yo, bring me that V!” something like that. Anyway, now that that is out of the way we may proceed.

Who decides the length of the cord? Is that decided by the manufacturer? Do they say, “Ok on average outlet to outlet is about this length.”. Maybe there is an argument where someone pounds their fist on a table during a board meeting and says, “I will not sit here and just listen to you say your going to cut a inch and a half off our default cord!”. Fucking Steve, man! He’s awesome! He fights for our cord rights. I don’t know maybe I got it all wrong maybe the cord size is regulated. Personally, I haven’t measured cords of vacuums myself so I wouldn’t be able to tell you that they are all the same. They sure do seem the same though. I wonder if there is this place I can go to to discuss a deal. Maybe discuss the different “packages”. Go with the Deluxe. ALWAYS go with the Deluxe Package. “I’m going to have to say the Deluxe Package.”. That right there will fulfill all your needs. Maybe it will even come with a longer cord or a customized cord extension!

For some reason I never understood why it has to be so loud. You’d think with our technology and expertise of things we’d figure out how to make it lower. If we found a way to make a toaster make bread AND eggs why haven’t we found a way to make a vacuum STFU! Sure I think there are some that are not so loud and actually are CORDLESS but I think from what I heard those don’t work as well. Again, I haven’t personally done any vacuum dissecting and gone out to compare cords and what not so I wouldn’t know if that is the answer to my problems but for now I am going to say no.

Lastly, I say fuck this shit! Forget the vacuum it will only let you down. Make sure your house has hardwood floor EVERYWHERE! Buy yourself a ShamWow in that case or just go buy a Roomba! Have the robot do the work for you!

Ok so there are several ways to find someone’s blog. The basics is you can click on a tag, find through a search term, or find it through related blogs. The main thing I’d like to focus on are search terms. Looking at what is searched for the most helps me figure out what tags to put on my blog and what to write in my posts. Call me a “Attention Whore” if you will. At the moment I truly don’t care much in making this possible but back on the topic of search terms, while spinning it around, it is pretty interesting to see what people search for and how my blog got found. So I decided to share things people searched for, that gave my blog a view count, and which I thought were either funny or interesting.

Hot Feet!

Stand up time!

(Clears throat/fixes tie)
Rick: You know it is pretty hot out there today don’t yah think?…In fact, it is sooo hot!
(Puts mic out towards crowd)
Crowd: How hot is it!(Crowd speaks in unison/trance)
Rick: Well! Let me tell yah! It is sooo hot that when I stepped on the cement barefooted the neighbors asked if I was cooking ham because it smelt so good!
(Drums play and crowd laughs)

Ok well back from daydreaming, where I can’t actually get away with a joke like that, I actually burnt my feet today! I did it for the fans though and THAT is how far I would go for the fans! Yes, like I said, I did it for the fans which actually is just one fan and his name is Chex. Chex is actually not a fan or person for that matter. He is just a dumb ol’ dog that loves to play ball. He loves it so much that he sacrificed his life for it! You see that! His LIFE! So I can’t just be like:

Rick: Dude I quit
Chex: Wtf why do you quit! We were having fun.
(Chex starts to moan/cry)
Rick: Dude my feet hurt out here.
(Chex gets angry/violent)
Chex: Muthf***er, I sacrifice my life for this sh**! Now pick up the f***ing ball and lets play, bi***!

By the way, Chex is a small pug TOTALLY harmless! Which is why I decided to keep playing. He said it was best for both of us. Well actually,so you can get the big picture, what happened was that we were playing by the pool and Chex got too into the game and accidentally fell in the pool. Poor little pug. He hates the pool and is too small to get out so I hauled him out of there. Anyway that’s not important back to my story. The cement was so hot out today though that I actually burnt my feet and they hurt now. This sucks! I feel like Michael Scott in NBC’s The Office when he burnt his foot on the George Foreman Grill. Oh well, I guess there is nothing I can do now except learn my lesson and continue to save little dogs, cats, and babies like I do daily. Oh and ladies, I AM single.

Creativity

It frustrates me that people can’t be different. Nobody seems to have original thoughts. I don’t ask to not “follow the crowd” or anything it’s just that understand their is a crowd and the people who succeed in life are the ones who lead it with their own unique ideas. Personally I guess I follow the crowd as well and like I said that isn’t bad but work on YOURSELF as well. To me things seem to be a popularity contest but this isn’t high school. Besides that my personal frustration in life is not knowing what I am doing. I constantly want to know what I need to do which is why I try to attempt to touch several things and try them out. To truly master something though it takes time but I feel like everyday that passes I waste my time doing something that is not for me. Yes it is interesting and I’d like it in my life as well but I want to know what to focus on and what to keep as a hobby. I feel undecided on several things because everything just seems so interesting. Music is amazing, entertainment(film, comedians, acting) is as well, computers are ridiculous! It just seems there is too many things in this world I wish I could do and it’s actually hard at times especially when I can’t find someone who will help give me that extra push by participating in my antics leaving me to abandon them. Oh well, I guess we’ll see how my life turns out in the long run. I just wish people could see things more like me. I feel people would be happy if they appreciated things more. Well I know their are some out there and maybe I just haven’t found them or maybe people do but I just don’t look into it too much. My point is people should just try to be themselves a little more and focus a little less on what others say. I don’t say that in a “ranting” way either but more in a helpful one.
